Lindsay KayBio: I grew up in Raleigh, NC and attended Broughton High School where I originally decided I wanted to go to school for fashion.  I went on several trips with school to New York City with the fashion classes I attended at Broughton and decided that I wanted to be in that field in some way.  I am currently a senior and Fashion Design Major at Meredith College.  I have one semester left and will be hosting my senior show at Meredith in May.  I’m a new designer and the only design event I have participated in was the Whole Foods “Bag Out in Style” event in downtown Raleigh. I made a dress entirely out of recycled plastic bags held together by various materials.  It was a great experience and fun to see what other students had come up with. I am so excited to be a part of Redress Raleigh! This is the first fashion show I have ever had my designs in.  Many thanks to family and friends for the help and support that has gotten me to where I am now.
