Four things about me:

1. I am a girl. I like to play dress up.

2. I am a bad-ass artist. I enjoy shaping and changing the world we live in.

3. I love this planet.  I want to keep it and us healthy.

4.I like puzzles. They are fun.

Figuring out green and ecologically conscious ways to create with less waste has been my labor of love for the past ten years.  Everyday I work and scheme to find innovative and artful ways to reuse and conserve what is around us.  I am a busy bee working to the hum of the mantra: “reuse, recycle, reinvent, repeat."

As a freelance artist and designer my work has been influenced by my first love and study: sculpture. For me, fashion design is functional sculpture. And the way I devise and shape each piece, allows me the opportunity to combine my penchant for working in three-dimensions with my desire to find practical solutions for already existing and otherwise forgotten resources.  I strive to put these ideas into practice through what I create and by teaching others how to do so, as well.
