REDRESS RALEIGH is the area's largest showcase of environmentally conscious fashion design. The show encourages independent artists and designers to incorporate "green" practices into their work, while showing a wide audience how easy it is to find eco-friendly clothing that is fashion forward. Our audience includes students, professionals, business owners and buyers - along with anyone else who is interested in learning more about their local and global environment. A portion of the proceeds Redress Raleigh raises go to a local non-profit organization, TBA, with a focus on outreach programs for children in impoverished communities in rural North Carolina. Your support will not only enable Redress Raleigh to give up-and-coming designers and artists a forum to show their work, but will also reach around the world by providing clothing and funding to children living in poverty.
Redress Raleigh is co-produced by Mor Aframian, Jamie Powell, and Beth Stewart. Each producer brings ideas from her own background to Redress Raleigh, creating a diverse vision of design innovation, retail practicality, and eco-chic. Sponsors of Redress Raleigh will have the benefit of reaching out to students, fashion enthusiasts, environmentalists, business owners, and anyone else interested in the growing arts and fashion scene in Raleigh.
